Description

RAINFALL
Divided Once Again
What Will Become of Our Peace?

Please do not touch this unless you are myself or Tempest on Imagine That. Thanks!

Edit
Darkened the feet up, moved the wings back and tried to add the shadow. I wasn't sure what side the shadow should go on... does it look alright?

About The Image
The requester on IT asked for something different done with a wolf, something with wings or odd markings... so I did both. The little puddles on the rocks, the foam and the splashes from the rain were all hand-painted and the rain was also done by hand. I'm extremely pleased with how the rain ended up, it was pretty bad at first. :P
I couldn't decide on what to do with the eye, and when I painted one in it looked strange, so I just went and closed the eye up, I think it looks better like that anyway.

Aww I love it! The two images you linked me to were both so different that it was difficult for me to choose one. In the end, I picked this one because it's closer to what I truly know, and as such I won't fail so badly in critiquing. =P

I really adore the emotion here. The rain, the waves, hint of winds and raging storms. The pose of the... flying wolf, howling into the air as if mourning.

Just fantastic.

The only true thing I can say is the green is a tad bright for the rest of the image. You did a good job blending and settling him into the picture, adding the wings, shadowing, etc; it's just the bright green that throws me off. I'd try dulling it out. See how on the far wing, it's dark and not standing out? Try that with the rest of the wolf; it might work out well. ;)
